Best Time to Visit Uganda for Safari
Uganda sits on the equator and enjoys a tropical climate. The dry seasons (DecemberÔÇôFebruary and JuneÔÇôSeptember) are generally best for gorilla trekking and game drives, as trails are less muddy and wildlife congregates near water sources.
The wet seasons bring lush landscapes and fewer crowds. Gorilla permits are easier to obtain, though trekking can be more challenging. For chimp tracking in Kibale, both seasons offer excellent sightings.
