Understanding Gorilla Trekking Permits

Gorilla trekking permits in Uganda currently cost USD 800 per person (subject to change). Permits must be booked well in advance, especially during peak season.

Tekisel Safaris handles permit acquisition as part of your package. Each permit allows one hour with a habituated gorilla family, guided by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers.

A 30% deposit confirms your booking; balance is due before the tour commences.
